music man shows, so far, are coming along awesomely :) anyone in the northern california area should come on down to 6th street playhouse and check out the show!! it's so great. you'll love it. :D

in other news, tomorrow are auditions for the sound of music at the JC, and i am nervous as hell! (and trying out, if you hadn't guessed. ;D) i don't need a monologue, apparently, which i just found out the other day after already having memorized like two of them, but i do need sixteen bars of a song and some dance skills, and i've got those so i guess all i can do now is hope for the best. :) patrick, a friend of mine from music man, is gonna be teching the show, so double hopes that i'll get in!!

here's hoping i will break a leg in a very non-literal sense. :) 

music man rehearsals! they are dawning! :) so far i know i am a river city townsperson--meaning ensemble. :) haha, but that's what i expected since there aren't really any bigger parts i'm even eligible for. but being in the ensemble is cool, you get to sing almost everything! :D

and speaking of singing, "iowa stubborn" is way fun to sing! so far we've only had the chance to go through that one and "trouble" but i expect a lot of future awesomeness in other chorus numbers. :)

anyone in the northern california area should totally come and buy tickets for one of the shows for this summer's season of summer repertory theatre (SRT) at the santa rosa junior college!!

the shows this year are "the producers", "the crucible", "the women", "snoopy", and "kiss me, kate" and they are all going to be FANTASTIC.

"the crucible" opens this thursday, june 19th, so come get your tickets soon!!!

music man is coming up! this summer!! wow, it seemed like just yesterday we were all backstage at LWW asking each other if we were gonna do summer program. and now summer's already almost here--when did that happen?! haha. 

dad and i went to see into the woods at 6th street a week or so ago, and it just made me all the more excited to get back on that stage. it's gonna be so awesome, i can feeeeel it. :D

in other news, SRT is coming up as well, and though i'll only be watching that, i'm just as excited. they're gonna have an amazing season this year, and the producers is gonna be one of the shows! fdjkdsfjk. that makes me so happy inside.
