Introducing... Devon Kark

Hello! To begin I'm more of a tech person. I was in Stagecraft in my high school for all 4 years and loved it. I'm even in Production in college, but my senior year off high school I tried acting for the first time and loved it!

My theatre teacher also taught AP English and we read "Doubt" in class and I was chosen to read Sister Aloysius. She stopped my after class and said I really should start acting because I had a natural talent for just reading it from the script. I don't know if it's true or not but I do know that I adore acting now that I've tried it.

I joined Theatre class and got a part as a Kite and understudied Kaa in "The Jungle Book." Then I auditioned for the play that we were performing at the Regional Drama Festival and got a main part. Ashely from "The Tree." Shockingly enough I got rave reviews from the teachers and fellow students. At the festival I received a trophy for All Festival Cast.

I am willing to work on getting my voice to an acceptable level to keep up with everyone. I'm up for learning how to dance or anything anyone wants to teach me because I do have talent. It's something I've been interested in for many years.
