Haydan started back in 2004 by auditioning for the McDonald College of Performing Arts in Sydney, Australia. Other straight theatre pieces he was also a part of were Ruby Moon, and Lie of the Mind. Of which he had the male leads. Since graduating in 2006 Haydan then pursued other courses and secured a place in the Victorian College of the Arts in 2008 for a foundation course in Musical Theatre which was a year long course. He also had the privilege to be a part of the end of year production of The boy from Oz, where he played Peter Allens father, production manager and various other roles.
