Full Intro: Jerrold Brown

Introducing... Jerrold Brown

I acted professionally during and after college (B.A. Theatre Performance, SUNY Albany).

I was a member of a children's theatre company that performed "The Wizard of Oz" on tour in Russia in 1974 under the auspices of the US Department of State.

I was also a professional actor in residence at Sweet Briar College Performing as Jean Paul Marat in Marat/Sade and as Vilbosse in Jean Anouilh's "The Rehearsal" directed by Joseph Roach, currently Chair of the Theatre Department at Yale University.

I entered law school in 1976 and practiced law as a litigator for 28 years. I was a partner in one of the 200 largest law firms in the United States.

I have retired from the practice of law and I have now returned to acting. I am currently appearing in "Inherit the Wind" at the New Phoenix Theatre in Buffalo, NY and will appear during the summer of 2011 as Duke Senior in "As You Like It" in Shakespeare in Delaware Park, also in Buffalo.
