Today the roommates went back to start another year of college, but I stayed home! Graduated life is pretty swell, as is living in Philadelphia. It's Fall, and that means a bunch of great productions to see (its gonna be really exciting to see people I graduated with in shows this coming year!), as well as the Philadelphia Fringe Festival this coming month!
As I sit around my apartment, I am eagerly anticipating beginning work on "Joseph..." at New Candlelight Theatre in Ardentown, DE. I have a feeling its going to be a blast, and I can't wait to start practicing my song ("Benjamin Calypso") and meet more interesting and talented actors living in Philly!
Entering my first year post-graduation, although it is the biggest lifestyle adjustment I have probably ever made, I am excited to see what new doors open up and where they take me to next. Although many actors I graduated wtih split up across the country, I am excited to cross paths with them in the coming years. As I have already discovered from my summer in Missouri, the world is small, especially the theatre world.
Bring on the real world! I'm finally ready for it!
