Introducing... Kate Hart
Kate Hart is a voice and voiceover coach that has been working in the Metro Detroit area for 7 years. Prior to that she spent 32 years singing, coaching and training as an actor, singer, producer and playwright, garnering over 50 industry awards (including four Grammy nominations) and/or nominations. Her vocal journey took Kate through classical training, somatic voice training, jazz improv and an overall study of almost every genre of music. This background not only gives her the knowledge and the gift of communication. It is important for students to know that Ms. Hart is living proof that even with challenges, the voice continues to improve. Kate has completed hundreds of voice lessons, exploring various methods, and has attended numerous seminars including: nutrition, Alexander technique, Essential oils, Somatic training, acupressure, reflexology along with various psychological and visualization techniques. Kate continues to study, probe, inquire, explore, practice and apply. Her value as a vocal teacher is unique in that she draws equally from 40 years in the business and an unusually diverse training along with receiving formal training at HFCC, Cornish Institute and private instruction.
