Introducing... Kyla Gabka

My name is Kyla and I am 15 years old. I am a triple-threat as people call me. I sing, dance, act, play the violin, piano, and guitar. I am in Musicality Vocal Ensemble which is a semi-professional, selective, high school, singing group directed by Michael Gibson which performs all around the Chicago area. I also play the violin in The Protege Philharmonic orchestra conducted by Joseph Glymph. I love to be on stage and in front of an audience. I also love being on the camera. These are the places where I can really let loose and be myself. I played the role of Mona, a step-sister, in "Cinderella Goes to the Hop", Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz", a Wino in "Little Shop of Horrors", and an extra in "Nine Lives" which is a new web musical series by Michael Gibson. I have been in two music videos: "Just A Dream" by Nelly cover by Musicality and one of the few "Rest Easy" by Andrew Peterson. From the years of 2007-2010, I was a singing/violinist/pianist finalist in The Taste of Talent at The Taste of Chicago. I am a silly girl who loves to have fun. I love going out with my friends and laughing all the time. There is rarely a time where you will see me upset but one little thing can set me on fire.
