Introducing... Mary Phipps

Hello, my name is Mary. I started out with Cookeville Children's Theatre in 2008. My first role was a Silly Girl in Beauty and the Beast. I jumped to lead role, The Cat in the Hat, in my second play Seussical Jr. In the spring of 2009 CCT did a touring show of School House Rock. I gained considerable experience in set design and costuming as well as plenty of acting experience. I interned as stage manager with CCT's last production, Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella. I am currently working as assistant stage manager with their current production, Into the Woods.

Although I have had few formal bellydance lessons I enjoy it immensely. I have received lots of compliments!
