Introducing... Matthew Robinson
Matthew A. Robinson is an up-and-coming dramatic baritone performing in opera, operetta, oratorio, and musical theater. He has appeared throughout Central Pennsylvania performing such roles as Simone in Gianni Schicchi, Javert in Les Miserables, King Charlemagne in Pippin, and a musical dedicated to the United State's second best-selling board game in Clue: The Musical.
Matthew has begun the 2008-2009 season with his performance as Alcindoro in Puccini's beloved opera, La Bohème. Upcoming performances include Il Commendatore in Mozart's Don Giovanni, Sciarrone in Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra's Concert performance of Verdi's Tosca, and as the Judge in Gilbert & Sullivan's comedic operetta, Trial By Jury.
Mr. Robinson is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Performance from Messiah College in Grantham, PA, studying extensively with established Bass, Damian Savarino.
