Introducing... Melanie Brown
Mrs. Lynch studied with world-renowned soprano Martina Arroyo and Patricia Stiles at Indiana University, who nurtured and encouraged her to reach greater vocal heights and expand her repertoire and performance skills. She has performed leading and supporting roles with several companies including Opera Memphis, Rick Benjamin’s Paragon Ragtime Orchestra, Indiana University Opera Theater, Opera in the Ozarks and the Interlochen Opera Theater. An outstanding performer, Mrs. Lynch is frequently asked to join her colleagues in performances and recitals. Mrs. Lynch’s talent was recognized at an early age when she won numerous awards including first place in the 1996 NATS Texoma youth division and 2nd place in the 1996 NATS Dallas/Fort Worth chapter collegiate division as a high school senior. She has also placed in competitions with several opera company competitions.
Mrs. Lynch takes students of all ages. Every student will come away with a solid vocal technique giving them the ability to perform with confidence. Training that will transfer over to music pieces the student may be working on for recitals, school musicals, talent shows, college auditions, playhouse pieces or just a desire to learn how to sing.
