I started studying voice in high school and continued on into college at Southwestern Assemblies of God University. I took some time off after two years and did not return to school until 2006 when I moved to CA to attend Vanguard University. I started studying music again along with some theatre. Since 2006 I have toured with a select music ensemble from the University to Europe twice and China once. I also returned to Europe on in 2010 where I was invited to give a recital in Germany. During that triip I also met up with a friend from Portugal who invited me to perform with him at several music conferences throughout Portugal, France and Luxembourg.
In the Spring of 2010 I gave my Senior Recital and was honored to receive the Music Department award for Best Vocal Senior Recital. I also was blessed to meet and sing with Ralph Carmichael an amazing man who composed and arranged for Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald and Bing Crosby to name a few.
