Introducing... Nic Adams
My stage and acting apprenticeship was shaped through twenty-five years of dedication to amateur theatre, and, having decided later on in life to train professionally and to commit to acting full-time, I have grown and developed in my performing and stage skills. In my professional career I have enjoyed a huge range of roles in theatre, in short films and TV, and on the road with various Theatre in Education companies.
I passionately believe that theatre can inspire, provoke thought, liberate, inform, educate, and above all, entertain, and it is this enthusiasm that I also strive to bring to my drama teaching (Stagecoach), workshops and directing. I am hard-working, cheerful, conscientious and energetic, with the ability to form a great rapport with young people and adults alike enabling them to realise their talents and discover the joy of theatre. I love to encourage others to become involved in all aspects of drama, whether performing, directing, writing, stage-managing or the technical side, and am always seeking new venues and opportunities which will challenge and excite me and enable me to bring theatre to an ever-wider audience.
