Introducing... Nick Cartwright
Hey there! Welcome to my StageAgent page! I've always had a passion for music and especially musicals! I am still fairly new to theatre because I've always been a very busy athlete, but I've slowly but surely started to shift my attention away from my sports towards theatre to the point where now I am totally devoted to theatre! It started out in 7th grade when my friend convinced me to do a show with him over the summer. I was in the children's chorus in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" and loved it! In 8th grade I had a very serious football injury so I decided to do "Bye, Bye Birdie" with my school where I played Hugo Peabody. Then in the summer of my Freshman year, My friends asked me to join a local theater company they were a part of because they neede more guys. Here I was Mac in "42nd Street," and I loved it so much that decided to the following year where they did "The Sound of Music" I recieved the role of Rolf Gruber and finally felt like I had the opportunity to prove to everyone that I am capable of handling difficult singing, dancing, and acting roles in shows! And that has become even more apparent after I quit football in order to be part of my school's production of the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee where I received the role of Chip Tolenino! And now i can't get enough musicals and am planning on auditioning for many more year-round!
