| StageAgent Show Synopsis: | After the beautiful Manon Lescaut enters an Inn filled with students, The Chevalier Des Grieux instantly falls in love. Nevertheless, an old man, Geronte de Ravoir is also in love with Manon. Manon returns Des Grieux's love but is soon seduced away from him to Geronte due to the ladder's extreme wealth. When Des Grieux attempts to win her back and she responds willingly, Geronte reports her to the police. As she is about to be deported to America, Des Grieux frantically tries to save her. After he fails, he decides to join her on the trip to America. Upon arriving though, she soon dies. – more |
