Overview

Synopsis

Bill and June appear to have the perfect marriage. They muse on how lucky they are to have the perfect family and the perfect life. In the midst of their 'perfect' chat, they are oblivious to the presence of a nuclear bomb, which slowly chases them round the stage. As the bomb grows ever closer, Bill and June discuss the dominant nuclear presence of the United States. Finally forced offstage by the bomb, the couple agree that it is better and easier to simply pretend that nuclear threats do no exist at all.

Editor's Note: This is a ten minute play.
