Overview

Synopsis

In order to promote the sale of alcoholic beverages, the German government has outlawed all soft drinks. As a result, soft drink speakeasies have been born. Golo Schmidt, a criminal mastermind, runs Klub 21 where illegal sodas are served. Golo used to be Michael Bramleigh, a suave British secret agent, until a hit on the head turned him German. Golo/Michael is hit on the head again -- and again -- which lets each of his personalities have a girlfriend. There's the fiery Polish chanteuse Gita Gobel for Golo; and for Michael, a bookish, bespectacled beauty named Frieda who is the daughter of Golo's nemesis, Police Commissioner Bauer.
