The story revolves around Horace J. Fletcher, owner of a chocolate factory. Fletcher is angered that the U.S. government refused to raise the tariff on Swiss chocolates. After a doctor gives him a sedative to help him sleep, Fletcher has a wacky dream. In his dream he leads the American army into war against Switzerland over the chocolate issue. However, the nation turns against Fletcher when it is revealed that Fletcher’s chocolates use Grade B milk. Nevertheless, the U.S. troops are already in Switzerland. They soon discover the Swiss call to arms – a yodel – and the American military routes the Swiss.
