| Synopsis: |
In Lookingglass Alice, David Caitlin reinterprets Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland and Through the Lookingglass as a high-energy, acrobatic fantasy reminiscent of Cirque du Soleil. After passing through a looking glass into an alternate reality, Alice must find her way through a life-sized (and more) chessboard, with characters assailing her from literally all sides, including above and below. While the play roughly follows Carroll’s books, Lookingglass Alice is more an acrobatic interpretation than an adaptation. |
