Synopsis:	Cavalleria Rusticana tells the story of Turiddu, a soldier who has a knack for engaging in relations with the wrong women. He has impregnated a young and bitter village girl, Santuzza. Meanwhile, he is having an affair with the wife of the village carter, Lola. In the end, Santuzza tells Alfio of the affair and he challenges Turiddu to a duel.
