The Flying Dutchman (Der fliegende Holländer)

Synopsis:	The story comes from the legend of the Flying Dutchman, about a ship captain condemned to sail until Judgement Day. He will only be released if he can find a wife who will be true to him. On his homeward journey, Captain Daland encounters the Dutchman and offers his daughter, Senta, in exchange for gold. Senta and the Dutchman are married. After Senta plunges into the ocean, she and the Dutchman rise to Heaven.
