Synopsis:	Nemorino, a simple peasant, is in love with the beautiful and wealthy Adina. However, she agrees to marry the charming Sergeant, Belcore. Desperate to gain Adina’s love, Nemorino purchases a magic potion from a traveling quack doctor. Rumor spreads that Nemorino stands to inherit immense wealth. He instantly becomes popular among the ladies and Adina becomes jealous. Finally, Adina ends her engagement to Belcore and agrees to marry Nemorino.
