Born in Denmark, Odense on December 21, 1992, Christian Otzen was raised in Pakistan, Islamabad and till the age of five moved to Uganda till the age of seven. After seven years Christian Otzen and his family moved back to Denmark.

At the age of 11 in 2003, Christian Otzen was in his first musical performance at his local open air theater in Otterup. Christian Otzen found joy on the open stage and the next year, 2004, Christian Otzen got a supporting role in the musical "Sommer I Tyrol" where he was well reviewed. Since 2003 Christian Otzen has been performing in musicals, plays, and movies.

In 2006 Christian Otzen took the step of auditioning to the royal Ballet School in Odense, and was happily accepted in. Through the three years in the school he practiced Modern Dance, Acting, and performance and was in several danceprojects. One of them was "Sweet Peas and other Great Recipes for World Dance" with Ann Crosset and Rania Kamhawi as choreographers. Here 20 lucky young dancers from Jordan and Denmark experienced a unique and well-studied artistic process. Out of the 20 dancers, Christian Otzen was the only boy.
Christian Otzen also got the chance to act with professional actors in the play "A Christmas Carol" in The Royal Theater in Odense.

After three years in the royal Ballet School in Odense, Christian Otzen changed school to a continuation school called "Den Rytmiske Efterskole i BĂ„ring". Continuation schools in Denmark are boarding schools for pupils aged 14-18 years. Here he studied music.

In 2010 Christian Otzen became a rotary exchange student and moved to the USA Kansas, Kansas City. Here Christian Otzen practiced his English and lived with two host families. He went to Shawnee Mission East high school. In his high school he was in the school musical and had drama class. This year Christian received a Paul Harris Fellow Award, because his rotary district believed that his life exemplifies the humanitarian and educational objectives of The Rotary foundation and significant assistance given for the furtherance of better understanding and friendly relations between people of the world.

After his year in USA, Christian Otzen came back to Denmark. He then started to study in Nordfyns Gymnasium (high school/ College) and will graduate in summer 2014.

Christian Otzen is now working with a group of people, and they are making their own movies. Their first movie will be a short-film that will premiere in summer 2014. Here Christian Otzen is scrip-writer, producer, and actor
