I began my career as an actor working in children's theatre but turned to journalism after discovering eating on a regular basis was something I couldn't let go of.
Have maintained a level of involvement through community theatre productions staged by a company I helped to build.
Have appeared in choral roles and supporting roles in Miracle on 34th Street, Pirates of Penzance, The Gondoliers, Trial by Jury, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, A Christmas Carol, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Thomson's Vacation, The Sandbox, The Admirable Chricton, Dark of The Moon
Have appeared as Wolfe in the feature film Looking for Anne.
Credited as co-creator of the music Canada Rocks: The Hits Musical Review which played two seasons at the Charlottetown Festival
Have three other musical in various stages of development.
Spent over 20 years as the resident theatre critic for The Guardian.
Have written in excess of 5000 profiles on entertainment figures engaged in music, theatre, dance and film.
Have received seven East Coast Music Award nominations for media person of the year.
Received that award twice, first in 2008, then again in 2010.
