Beaverton Civic Theater
Beaverton Civic Theatre is a volunteer-run theater company housed in the Beaverton Public Library. We strive to reflect the diverse lives of our community on stage and in our outreach. Our 2012 season offers a unique sampling of drama and comedy.
The foundation of the Beaverton Civic Theatre consists of over 200 volunteers with the common interest of providing quality theatrical experiences for our community. Our volunteers range from theatre veterans to inexperienced novices and their contributions from directing, acting, building sets, and selling tickets are greatly appreciated.
Through our partnerships with the City of Beaverton, the Beaverton Arts Commission and the Beaverton City Library, we strive to make theatre accessible to our community. Centrally located in the Beaverton City Library Auditorium, our patrons enjoy free parking in the library parking lots and affordable coffee and dessert is at Ava’s Roasteria just down the block. Our opening nights are community partnership nights where tickets are $5.00 at the door with a used book, CD or DVD donation to the New Friends of the Beaverton City Library’s Book Corner.
We’re proud to bring Beaverton theatre that involves the community on stage, behind the scenes and in the audience. And, we hope that you will join us!
