Miss Saigon

I am helping a friend pick an audition song for North Carolina Theatre's production of Miss Saigon, he has considered a few options from Les Mis, Baritone - Counter Tenor Range. Just looking for different options to see that we haven't overlooked any ideas. Putting "Man of La Mancha" into a higher key, or "Where I Want to Be" from Chess. Any other ideas?
