For Bye Bye Birdie its definitely Albert Peterson. He has the biggest part by far. He is in almost the whole show.

In Oz there are quite a few that can be considered leads. The Wizard is the strictly guy part. But the three companions, the Scarecrow Lion and Tinman, are all unisex. I've even seen the Wicked Witch of the West played by a male.

Chip Tolentino, William Barfee, and Leaf Coneybear would be "leads"

"Drowsy Chaperone"
"Man in Chair", Robert Martin, Aldolpho, George, and Mr. Feldzieg
(I'd consider them all leads, though some are bigger than others)

"Mary Poppins"
Bert and George Banks are the two that come to mind
