Chinese Converts in "Anything Goes"

Postby elelovestheater19 on Tue Jun 12, 2007 1:47 pm

What is the deal with the two chinese converts in "Anything Goes"? What is their purpose? Do they have lines (spoken or sung)? I'd just like to know a litle more about those particular characters. I am grateful for all help!

the chinese converts have some small lines and such and they are basically responsible for lord evelyn oakleigh and reno sweeny to get married and for billy and hope harcourt to be married. if it wern't for those chinese converts the couples wouldn't have lived happily ever after.

We are doing Anything Goes this summer and my friends is playing the convert John. She doesn't have a whole lot to say, but they are very comedic characters. There is a scene where the two get put in jail, and it ends up with Reno smashing a champaigne bottle on John's head, and moonface and billy steal their clothes and sneak out.
