The Fantasticks, which stands as the world's longest-running musical, began its original Off-Broadway run at the Sullivan Street Playhouse in May 1960, closing in January 2002. The revival of this Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt masterpiece began performances at the Snapple Theater Center's Jerry Orbach Theatre in August 2006, where on May 3, 2010 – the show is set to begin its 50th year Off-Broadway.
