Do you get what you pay for from a driving instructor?

I am a driving instructor and wonder how some of my competitors can charge such a low hourly rate?

I charge much less than the big nationals, but quite a bit more than the real cheap ones. I don't know how someone can make a profit and provide a high standard of instruction when they charge little more than the minimum wage for an hours lesson.
