Suppose you have a car, a swimming pool and a house that needs protection from wildfire.

How would you use the car engine to siphon the swimming pool and pump water into sprinklers positioned on the house roof?

Can you use common items like garden hose and PVC pipe? Can you run the water THROUGH the engine, using the car's water pump to supply pressure?
