In view of global worming & depletion in stock of fossil fue

We are all concerned about global worming.
The stock of fossil suel like Petrol Diesel, coal are gradually depleting at a rapid pace.
Car racing does nor serve any productive purpose.
In view of this, should not car racing be stopped or banned by all the countries?
