First Musical, Need Help!

I know this is probably said and asked a lot, but this is my first musical audition coming up and i need some advice. The musical is in my high school for into the woods. I'm a tenor (can hit some baritone notes) and need opinions on my audition song. I wanted to do "finishing the hat" from sunday int eh park with george, due to it being Sondheim, but i'm not sure if i'm going the right track for my first audition. Could anyone help? Thanks
