Auditioning for Urinetown

Hey all, I'm planning on auditioning for my college's production of Urinetown in January and I really could use some help.

I've never auditioned for a musical before, so I don't really know where to begin. I'm going for the part of Hope Cladwell, and have to sing a song from another musical for my audition. I just have no clue what song to pick. Any suggestions would be more than helpful. Thanks a lot!
