Beauty and the Beast auditions....

i need some song choices to audtion with.
I'm a soprano and was thinking i should try out for belle cause i have the voice and look.
We can't sing a song from the show.
any thing said will help.....thanks.

First off, Beauty and the Beast! What a super awesome show! Anyway, I think that since you want the part of Belle, the director is probably going to want a song that shows you'd be great in that part. I think that you should sing "I'll Know" from Guys and Dolls, or "Much More" from The Fantasticks. Both are great soprano songs that show off your range (although I believe Belle's part can be sung Mezzo Soprano). Both songs show a genuine side that Belle is too well known for.
