The show that is popular amongst the audience as the “Jersey Boys” is in fact a musical that is all about the life of its three female lead actresses. Minus the female characters it would never have pulled through its Four Seasons.
This group of three takes on almost five a dozen different characters during the course of the respective show. This adds not only excitement but also drama to the Four Seasons story in the midst of quick dress, wigs and makeup changes.
The story of this show revolves around a Buffalo resident named Denise Payne, who is a two-year veteran of the recent tour. He has a much difficult job that is playing almost twenty different characters through the entire show. She gave an interview to The News when on tour in Charlotte situated in N. C telling the media that the “Jersey Boys” had made a box office record at the venue of the Belk Theatre, where it raised a whopping $1,164,813 in just one week.
One of the main reasons why the audience has been captured by this show is its interesting ensemble. That is because there are a total of only four people who play different characters throughout the Four Seasons. The rest are just the supporting cast. One of the most main characters is that of Frankie Valli’s daughter, who has been portrayed as a troubled girl. The same person plays the role of his mother at one point in the show. Amongst the other roles that she plays, an important is that of a hooker in short she plays the roles of females of every age and looks.
When Denise was asked if she ever hit sangs she replied that once something interesting happened. When they had been singing ‘Oh, What a Night,’ Denise had been playing the role of a hooker to whom Bob Gaudio loses his virginity. She is wearing a red negligee and suddenly the heel of her high heels went through the back of her negligee and she was unable to stand up straight owing to her heel that is pulling her dress backwards. Hence she had to walk up the stairs looking as if she was suffering from some kind of paralysis.
She also told the media that the main challenge is playing a new character on stage every five minutes. But at the same time she says that it’s also the most enjoyable part is that you walk on stage and the audience dont know who you are. In spite of enjoying her profession to the fullest she admits to having bad days when she wishes to have made a better choice. Further she said she’s still working on that.
