RENT- What is that high note?

Postby lilmissdaae on Fri Nov 16, 2007 7:09 am

The high note in Season's of Love sang by Joanne is, in a word, unbelievable. Does anyone know what note it is that she hits? I've tried to find it on the piano but I keep coming up with a high C# and I must be wrong!!! I know it's a random question but I'm curious. :)

you are right. it is a high c# i believe
-I'll give her this much, she doesn't give a twig about what other people think!
-No, she does, she just pretends not to.
-Fiyero and Galinda, Wicked

why try to fit in when you are born to stand out?

I pretty sure that the note is a regular high C. (When I say regular, I mean not sharp or flat.)

The high note is a high c and the soloist has the option to go higher depending on which riff they choose to do (tracie thom's version or fredi walker).

I only know because I was just in a production of Rent and was the soloist.
