I don't know if any of you out there have heard of the musical "Elisabeth". It is a musical written in German about the life of Emperess Elisabeth of Austria. She was a very depressed yet beautiful woman and was murdered. The play embraces her depression by twisting it so that she is in love with Death himself who is portrayed in the show by a handsome young man. Do any of you know it? If you don't, you should look it up. I don't speak German but one can still feel the emotion in the music.
