School Musical Situation

Okay, my school doesn't have too many guys, and there are a ton of girls. Any ideas? I was thinking about suggesting Hello Dolly or Seussical

i know it's a little late, but other shows you could do are SMILE, Bye Bye Birdie, Little Shop of Horrors, and She Loves me

we did Little Shop last year, actually, and our next show is going to be Once on this Island. (by the way, it's not too late ~ I still have a chance to influence my teacher for the show we're doing my senior year)

Gypsy is a great show with a lot of wonderful female characters-Mama Rose, Louise (the daughter who eventually becomes Gypsy Rose Lee), June and the three strippers who have a knockout song together. The male lead Herbie needs to be a strong actor rather than singer. The part of Tulsa, June's boyfriend, does have to sing and dance. Tons of chorus stuff for women plus the young boys who back up Baby June in the first act could be played by girlsif necessary.
Well drawn characters, great book, great score.
