Boleslas is King Wenceslas’ oldest son. He accompanies his father and brother to the fateful military review, where they are killed by Papa Ubu and the mob. Later, Boleslas appears as a ghost to his youngest brother Bourgelas, compelling him to take revenge against Papa Ubu.
