Diana Stein is a Germany-based theatre director, playwright, scenographer, lyricist, and performer. She has directed six productions at leading national venues, including the I. Franko National Academic Drama Theatre, the Les Kurbas National Centre for Theatre Arts, and the Taras Shevchenko National Academic Music-Drama Theatre, where she also wrote original texts and adaptations. Her works include No Pictures Expected (Kharms), Hedda Gabler (Ibsen), Partners in Crime (E.-E. Schmitt) as well as Farewell Cabaret and Gelsomino in the Land of Liars, musicals for which she wrote the text and lyrics.
